A long-weekend immersion for writers, soil-lovers, food lovers, cooks, and anyone longing to reconnect with land, lineage, and the stories that shaped them.
My Garden Grows Stories blends the regenerative farming wisdom of Nicola and Alessandro of Quintosapore with Kamin Mohammadi’s embodied writing practice. Together we dig – literally and metaphorically – into soil, memory, culture, and the rituals that make us who we are.
A Weekend of Soil, Story and Creative Regeneration: where Food, Memory and Nature Become Narrative
This retreat invites you to write from the ground up. Through regenerative agriculture, sensory exploration, ancestral foodways and writing from the body, you will unearth the flavours, memories and voices that formed you – and transform them into story.
At Quintosapore, the Twin Farmers share their regenerative philosophy:

This weekend blends writing, farm immersion, shared meals, foraging, somatic grounding, and deep creative connection.
THE FLOW OF THE WEEKEND
Thursday afternoon – Arrival & Welcome
Independent check-in followed by a welcome aperitivo and dinner in Città della Pieve. A gentle settling-in and introduction to the retreat.
Friday – Soil, Senses & Story
A full day at Quintosapore exploring regenerative farming, biodiversity, and sensory writing. Includes a farm tour, soil-to-fork lunch, writing workshop with Kamin, somatic grounding, and an afternoon of generative writing exercises.
Saturday – Memory, Culture & Cooking
A morning writing workshop in town, followed by free time for lunch. In the afternoon, a hands-on cooking workshop with a special guest, and an evening dinner where stories, recipes and memories are shared.
Sunday – Harvesting the Stories
A final writing session inspired by the town’s art and architecture, followed by a communal brunch and optional readings. Closing circle and departures.
